What we do

Hardware replacement, done right the first time

New hardware is one of the quickest ways to refresh a kitchen or bathroom. We use a template so every knob and pull sits straight and evenly spaced.

Loose towel bars, sagging cabinet doors and drawers that won't close get fixed too. If your new pulls don't match the old holes, we'll show you the options (a backplate or filling the old holes) before we drill.

Typical time: a few minutes per knob or pull when the old holes line up; new holes take longer. Most kitchens fit in a 2- or 3-hour visit. We tackle as many items as time allows, starting with your priorities, so add the rest of your list. See all services.

Before your visit

How to get ready

Helpful to have ready

  • Count your knobs, pulls and hinges and send photos
  • Measure the hole spacing on your current pulls (center to center)
  • Buy the new hardware plus one or two spares
  • Empty any drawers we're working on

Customers buy parts upfront at store prices with no markup. After seeing your photos we send the exact list, and we can pick it up on the way.

Good to know

Towel bars and hooks on tile need special drill bits and extra care. Let us know if anything goes on tile and we'll plan for it.

How long does it take to replace kitchen cabinet hardware?

Yes, on most cabinets. Send a photo of the inside of a door showing the hinge so we can check the type.

We can cover the old holes with backplates or fill them before drilling new ones. We'll go over the options with you first.

Who buys the hardware?

You do, at store prices with no markup. After seeing your photos we tell you exactly what to buy.
