Deposit, cancellation & payment
Clear and fair, so there are no surprises on either side.
$50 reserves your visit
Part of your total, not an extra fee. After we text to confirm your day, send $50 by Zelle. Your visit is confirmed once we've checked the deposit arrived.
Cancel 24+ hours ahead
Cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your visit (36 hours appreciated) and we'll refund or move your deposit.
Late cancellations
Less than 24 hours' notice, or no way into the home at the scheduled time, forfeits the deposit.
Parts paid upfront
You purchase the parts on our list before the visit, ordered for store pickup or delivery. We pick them up, so you pay store prices with no markup.
Zelle or cash
The balance ($139 for 2 hours, $200 for 3), plus any extra time you approved, is due when the work is done. We don't accept credit cards.
30-day workmanship guarantee
If something we installed or repaired fails because of our workmanship within 30 days, tell us and we'll come back and fix it at no charge. Parts and materials are covered by their maker's warranty. The guarantee doesn't cover misuse, accidents, or changes made by someone else.
Extra charges, explained
The only possible extras: $80 for each hour past the first three (only if you approve it), and the parts you buy at store prices. There is no charge for travel, parking, tolls or picking up your parts. Small hardware like screws, anchors and caulk is included.
Bigger projects
We advertise small jobs that fit in a 2- or 3-hour visit. Bigger work gets its own written estimate and agreement before anything starts. We are a handyman service, not a licensed contractor.
