What we do

Light fixture & ceiling fan replacement, done right the first time

A new light fixture is one of the fastest ways to update a room. We turn off the power, remove the old fixture, connect the new one to the existing wiring and box, and test it.

Ceiling fans need a fan-rated box. If yours isn't, we'll tell you after seeing photos, and that part goes to a licensed electrician.

Typical time: 30–45 min each. A 3-hour visit usually covers four to six jobs, and a 2-hour visit fits a shorter list, so add the rest of your list. See all services.

What's included

  • Replacing ceiling light fixtures
  • Replacing wall sconces
  • Replacing ceiling fans on a fan-rated box
  • Swapping pendant lights
  • Installing the fixture's mounting bracket
  • Testing every fixture after install

Before your visit

How to get ready

Helpful to have ready

  • Send photos of the old fixture and the new one (or a link)
  • Buy the new fixture before the visit
  • Know which breaker controls the room, if you can

Customers buy parts upfront at store prices with no markup. After seeing your photos we send the exact list, and we can pick it up on the way.

Good to know

We only replace fixtures on an existing box and wiring. New circuits, new boxes, new switches or outlets, and panel work need a licensed electrician.
