What we do

Window repair, done right the first time

Older Bay Area homes are full of windows that stick, rattle or won't lock. We clean and adjust the tracks, free painted-shut sashes and replace worn latches, locks and handles.

Fog and wind getting in? New weatherstripping and fresh caulk around the trim seal the gaps, and we can hang blinds, shades or curtain rods while we're there.

Typical time: 30–60 min per window. We tackle as many items as time allows, starting with your priorities, so add the rest of your list. See all services.

What's included

  • Freeing sticking or painted-shut windows
  • Cleaning and lubricating tracks
  • Replacing latches, locks and crank handles
  • Repairing and replacing window screens
  • Weatherstripping and caulking drafty windows
  • Installing blinds, shades and curtain rods

Before your visit

How to get ready

Helpful to have ready

  • Send a photo of each window and a close-up of the latch or lock
  • Note any brand name on the frame (it helps find parts)
  • Clear the sill and move furniture back a few feet
  • Buy the parts we recommend (or we'll send a list)

Customers buy parts upfront at store prices with no markup. After seeing your photos we send the exact list, and we can pick it up on the way.

Good to know

Broken glass, rotted frames and full window replacement are bigger jobs. Send photos and we'll tell you whether it fits a visit or needs a written estimate.

How it works

Simple from start to finish

  1. Send your list and photos

Select your jobs and add a few photos so we know exactly what we're working with.

  2. Confirm your visit

We text you the next open day in your area. A $50 Zelle deposit reserves it, and it counts toward your total.

  3. Parts ready to go

We tell you exactly what to buy. You order it for store pickup or delivery, and we grab it on the way, so your visit time goes to the work.

  4. Pay when it's done

The balance ($149 for 2 hours, $219 for 3) by Zelle or cash, plus any extra time you approved. No surprise charges.
